Purvi Shah, DPM
Dr. Purvi Shah received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgia State University. Following graduation, she attended medical school at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She graduated in 2009 as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). In 2012, Dr. Shah went on to complete a medical and surgical residency at Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Long Island, New York.
Dr. Shah is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She has professional memberships with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association. She is affiliated with Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Inc.
Dr. Shah can speak English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
Dr. Margot Waldman
Dr. Margot Waldman is a foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the care of a variety of lower extremity problems. She is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. She then earned her doctorate degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL, and then completed her three-year residency at a level 1 trauma center in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH.
After residency, she worked in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and most recently in Cumming, Georgia. She has been trained in all aspects of podiatric care, including forefoot, rearfoot, wound care and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Waldman moved to the state of Georgia to be closer to family, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, walking with her dog (Tova), playing tennis, and exploring new cities.
